Uninterruptible Power Supply for Critical Power Protection

An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is a power protection system designed to provide continuous and stable electrical power to critical loads when the utility supply is normal, unstable, or interrupted. In addition to providing backup power, a UPS can help reduce the impact of voltage fluctuations, frequency variations, and certain transient disturbances on sensitive equipment, depending on its system architecture.

HAGOE Electric Technology Co., Ltd. has more than 18 years of experience in electrical equipment and power systems. Our product portfolio covers UPS, EPS, intelligent DC power systems, industrial automation, and new energy electrical solutions. Based on different load characteristics, power ratings, reliability requirements, and installation conditions, HAGOE provides three main UPS solutions: High Frequency Online UPS, Modular UPS, and Low Frequency UPS.

UPS selection should not be based on nominal equipment power alone. Engineers normally need to evaluate actual load power, power factor, starting current, load characteristics, required backup time, input and output voltage, system redundancy, future expansion, and installation conditions. For critical loads in data centers, telecom systems, and industrial control applications, additional factors such as system architecture, bypass configuration, battery arrangement, and maintenance requirements should also be considered.

HAGOE can recommend suitable UPS configurations based on load lists, single-line diagrams, technical specifications, and project operating conditions. We support both standardized products and project-specific configurations, with services covering technical consultation, solution design, manufacturing, factory testing, export delivery, and installation and commissioning guidance.

How to Select the Right UPS

UPS selection should be based on actual load requirements and project operating conditions. Key parameters should be confirmed before procurement:

Selection Factor Engineering Consideration
Load Capacity Actual operating load rather than nameplate capacity alone
Power Factor Load power factor and UPS output capability
Load Type Server, motor, medical, industrial control, and other load characteristics
Backup Time Battery capacity based on required backup duration
Redundancy N, N+1, or other architecture according to load criticality
Expansion Expected future load growth and capacity expansion
Installation Available installation space and environmental conditions
Maintenance Battery, module, bypass, and maintenance access requirements

Typical UPS Applications

HAGOE UPS systems can be used for critical loads requiring continuous power or power protection, including:

High Frequency Online UPS

High Frequency Online UPS

HAGOE HC / H3C Series High Frequency Online UPS is designed for critical loads including computer data centers, medical equipment, financial and business centers, and precision equipment. The system adopts a high-frequency online double-conversion architecture with zero switching time, while microprocessor control and SPWM technology provide stable pure sine wave output.
Low Frequency UPS

Low Frequency UPS

HAGOE Low Frequency UPS is an online uninterruptible power supply designed for critical loads in power systems, industrial automation, data centers, medical equipment, and infrastructure projects. It combines an online double-conversion topology with a low-frequency isolation transformer, continuously reconstructing the output power through the rectifier, DC bus, and inverter stages while providing galvanic isolation between the input and output.
Modular UPS

Modular UPS

HAGOE Modular UPS is designed for data centers, communication rooms and industrial control systems. It uses DSP digital control and N+X redundancy, with 20KVA per module and up to 200KVA per cabinet. Its modular design supports flexible capacity expansion, reliable power protection and easier maintenance.
  • Product Type: Modular UPS / Modular Uninterruptible Power Supply
  • Module Capacity: Up to 20KVA per single module
  • Cabinet Capacity: Up to 200KVA per cabinet through parallel module configuration
  • Redundancy: N+X redundant modular design
  • Control Technology: DSP digital control
  • As a Uninterruptible Power Supply manufacturer and supplier in China, HAGOE provides factory direct products, R&D support and customized solutions for global projects.
